Golden, crunchy, and kid-approved  – these bite-sized beauties are packed with tender fish and a crispy coating that kids (and grown-ups!) can’t resist. Perfect dipping in Mama Bear Ketchup, sharing, or sneaking straight off the tray.

Serves 4 | Prep 10 mins | Cook 12–14 mins

Ingredients:

  • 2 cod fillets (boneless, skinless)

  • 100g breadcrumbs

  • 50g plain flour

  • 1 free-range egg, beaten

  • ½ teaspoon mild paprika

  • Pinch of salt & pepper

2 tablespoons Mama Bear ketchup

Method:

  1. Prep the Fish:
Slice cod fillets into finger shapes.

  2. Make the Coating:
In one bowl, mix flour with paprika, salt, and pepper. Place beaten egg in a second bowl and breadcrumbs in a third.

  3. Coat & Crunch:
Dip each fish piece into the flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs until coated. This is a great job for kids – messy, fun, and gets them involved!

  4. Bake It:
Place coated fish on a lightly oiled tray and bake at 200°C (fan 180°C) for 12–14 minutes, turning once, until golden and crisp.

  5. Serve & Dip:
Serve with Mama Bear ketchup and some colourful veggie sticks for a balanced, family-friendly meal.
