Mama Bear Sausage Sandwich
A familiar Irish classic that just isn’t the same without ketchup. Juicy sausages, soft bread, and a generous squeeze of Mama Bear’s signature sauce. Simple, satisfying, and made to hit the spot every time.
Serves: 4 | Prep time: 5 mins | Cook time: 10 mins
Ingredients:
4 sausages (pork, chicken, or veggie – your choice)
4 soft rolls or brioche buns
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 handful of spinach or rocket leaves
4 tbsp Mama Bear Ketchup
1 tbsp sunflower or coconut oil
Method:
Cook the sausages – Place your pan on a medium high heat with a drizzle of oil and cook sausages on medium heat for 8–10 minutes, turning until golden and cooked through.
Caramelise onion (optional) – In the same pan, add onion slices and cook until soft and slightly sweet (about 5 mins).
Assemble – Slice open each roll and create your very own Mama Bear Sandwich.
Serve warm – Pair with veggie sticks or homemade oven chips for a quick family meal.
